Users can monitor both microphone audio and external audio sources through headphones with level control.

The MM-1 is a single-channel portable microphone preamp with powerful headphone monitoring capabilities. Proven in mission-critical applications, this high-performance microphone preamp uses transformer-balanced inputs and outputs, a bipolar ±15 volt power supply, and low noise, low distortion gain in all switch positions. It features a dual-stage limiter and two-position high-pass filter for zero clip. Flexible microphone powering provides 48V or 12V phantom power and 12V T-power.
Power is provided by two AAA batteries or an external 5-17 VDC.
