■Plug-ins

Want to clarify the attack of a percussion track? Want to soften a harsh attack and make an acoustic instrument track sound more natural? Leave that processing to Transient Modulator (TransMod).

TransMod is a plug-in that can emphasize or soften the attack by adjusting the transients of the material. It uses adaptive processing that follows the input signal, achieving advanced processing with minimal parameters without compromising the quality of the original sound.

Simple sound refinement is possible with settings such as Threshold, which sets the input level at which it begins to function; Deadband, which sets the processing level that is not affected by dynamic gain control; Overshoot, which adjusts the duration of transient adjustment (small values ​​only affect the brief attack of transients); and Rise Time, which adjusts the attack time of envelope detection. The overall behavior of TransMod can be set with the Ratio slider; positive settings emphasize transients, while negative settings soften them.

It also features an Overdrive engine, inherited from the Inflator, which prevents clipping while increasing the final sound pressure. Setting it to 100% will raise the level by 6dB, but it affects the harmonic structure without causing digital clipping, adding warmth to the sound.
