This is the successor to the C419, a landmark microphone for wind instruments such as saxophone. Its flexible gooseneck allows for placement around the bell of the instrument. It's also compatible with wireless systems with a mini XLR 3-pin input, including AKG wireless systems.

中・高音域が豊かで非常に使いやすい音色です。
抜けがよく、バンド・JAZZに向いていると感じます。
本体のゲインコントロール部分が非常にデリケートで無理な力を加えると折れます。要注意。
切り込みの入っている所がポイントです。
逆に回さないように。
