The Instant Phaser Mk II is a plugin that faithfully emulates the world's first rack-mount phaser, released in 1972, which revolutionized studio effects. It reproduces the tape flanging effect, which was done manually at the time, with the warmth and smooth fluctuations characteristic of analog circuits using an all-pass network.

In addition to building diverse stereo sound images with three modes—Shallow, Deep, and Wide—the Instant Phaser Mk II offers flexible phasing control in four ways: LFO (Oscillator), manual, input signal level (Envelope/sidechain compatible), and modulation wheel (Remote).

Furthermore, its most distinctive feature is the ""Age"" knob, which simulates the aging process of analog components. From factory settings to the unpredictable fluctuations resulting from decades of studio use and the resulting changes in component characteristics, and even ""deterioration in the distant future,"" it allows for unprecedented sound shaping by freely traversing the timeline of the equipment.

■Main Features
The Instant Phaser Mk II offers three different sonic characteristics that change the amount of phase shift section, simply labeled ""Shallow,"" ""Deep,"" and ""Wide."" When ""Wide"" is selected, the Instant Phaser Mk II provides different amounts of phase shift in the left and right channels, resulting in slightly different effects to each ear. This allows you to transform a flat, mono guitar into a massive stereo lead, or fill both sides of a mix with a single-channel synthesizer.

• Age knob adds the aging (drift) of components over time.

• Mode switch provides three different phasing flavors: Shallow, Deep, and Wide.

• Four different methods for controlling phasing.

• Depth control allows you to combine phase and dry signals.

• Added Side Chain function allows you to trigger envelope followers from another source in the mix to create interaction between tracks.
