Instant Flanger Mk II is a plugin that faithfully emulates the world's first studio rackmount flanger, released in 1975. It perfectly reproduces the unique sound of analog tape flanging heard on classic albums by artists such as David Bowie and Cyndi Lauper, within your DAW.

Its most distinctive feature is the ""Bounce"" function, which mimics the physical fluctuations that occur when the servo motor tries to regain the appropriate speed after you release your finger from the flange (edge ​​of the reel) of a tape machine. This allows you to add organic, realistic grooves to your tracks, going beyond mere electronic modulation.

Furthermore, it features dual output modes (Shallow, Deep, Wide) that create a pseudo-stereo sound image from the input signal, as well as a variety of control methods including oscillator, envelope follower, and manual. From doubling vocals and guitars and emphasizing stereo to extreme modulation, intuitive and practical sound design is possible.

• Depth control: Controls the intensity of the effect, adding the delay signal to the dry signal at 100% and subtracting the dry signal from the delay signal at -100%.

• Three different flavors of flanging mode: Shallow, Deep, and Wide.

• Manual control: Controls the ""comb"" effect by turning a large knob.

• Oscillator: Drives flanging at a user-defined rate.

• Envelope Follower: Drives flanging based on the amplitude of the signal.

• Remote: Maps the flanging control to the modulation wheel for tactile operation.
