Developed in close collaboration with Canadian-based Eurorack modular manufacturer Intellijel Designs, the Intellijel Rubicon is an oscillator capable of diverse modulation.
Its unique tone is perfect for experimenting with FM synthesis.

The actual unit is a legendary piece of equipment created by David Dixon, bringing a new approach to through-zero FM to the world of Eurorack modular systems.
The Intellijel Rubicon is a fully featured analog triangle core VCO with through-zero FM.
It can simultaneously output multiple waveforms, including waveforms with harmonics added or octaves downshifted from the fundamental frequency.

■Key Features
- Highly accurate emulated triangle core
- Switchable TZFM (Through-Zero FM) between linear and logarithmic types. The first module with this type of modulation.
- Linear index VCA for dynamic control of the amount of TZFM
- CV-driven Symmetry control (fully clockwise is normal, fully counterclockwise is inverted, center position means the VCO is at zero Hz)
- 12 main waveforms: Sine, Sigmoid, Double Sigmoid, Triangle, Sawtooth, Double Saw, Zigzag, Square, Pulse (center modulated), Pulse (edge ​​modulated), Double Pulse
- Sub-octave circuit with selectable one or two octaves down (the sub-octave output is affected by FM just like the main signal)
- Soft sync (reverse sync) with attenuator
- Hard sync with selectable reset direction (specifies whether the triangle wave moves up or down after reset. Very useful in LFO mode)
- Dedicated attenuators for pulse width modulation and logarithmic FM
- Modular is required to use this product.
