Developed in close collaboration with Canadian-based Eurorack modular manufacturer Intellijel Designs, the Intellijel Korgasmatron II is an add-on to Softube's modular platform, Modular. It is a dual-channel multimode filter that can also be used for self-oscillation.
Each channel features six independent mode filters, and the XFADER knob allows you to blend the filters.

Inspired by classic Japanese synthesizers, the Intellijel Korgasmatron II is bolder and more flexible.

The Intellijel Korgasmatron II offers six completely independent filter output modes, A and B, selected via a rotary switch.

A special overdrive function allows the output signal to be softly or hard clipped, depending on the input signal's drive level. This is controlled through the input amplifier, with clipping beginning when the knob is turned past 12 o'clock (for a standard 10 Vpp waveform).

The difference between hard and soft clipping is subtle with simple waveform sources, but can be dramatic with more complex sources (such as chords).

Just like the original, the Intellijel Korgasmatron II can go from clean and precise to barking and aggressive, from the classic MS-20 sound to entirely new territory.

It's all at the touch of a button on the front panel.

- Both filters track 1v/octave over a 3-4 octave range (can be used as a VCO by self-oscillating)

- Soft and hard clipping outputs
- Resonance soft clipping control (Q drive)
