If your mix is ​​missing something, Softube's Spring Reverb might be able to help.
Spring reverbs are commonly used with guitars, as they're built into many guitar amps. That said, it's a shame to assume that these reverbs are exclusively for guitar.
They can add rich character and character to almost anything: vocal tracks, snare drums, percussion, electric organs, and more. Their unique sound can really make your mix stand out.
Plus, there's more than one spring reverb sound.
You can choose the spring reverb character you're looking for from multiple settings. The number and tension of springs have a significant effect on the sound and atmosphere, so it's up to you to decide what spring reverb your track needs.
There are also tube-driven bass and treble controls for further shaping the sound.
If you're looking for the explosive roar you get from vibrating real spring reverbs (the springs bouncing off and crashing into each other), that's modeled here, too.

Springs
Adjusts the number of springs used. The reverb unit has three sets of springs, and you can choose how many you want. Setting this control to ""ONE"" creates a distinct spring sound, while setting it to ""THREE"" creates a smoother sound.

Shake
For a thunderous, oscillating spring sound, Spring Reverb includes a slider that lets you safely achieve the same effect.

Tension
Tightens or loosens the tension of all three springs. Adjusting the Tension parameter will change the sound of the string. Moving it to the left makes it slower and smoother, while moving it to the right makes it faster and harsher. This is a great tool for using it in conjunction with the Springs knob to change the overall character of the reverb.

Bass, Treble, Input Stage
This is an authentic tube simulation using the same technology as our Amp Room products on the wet signal.
