The UNIVERSAL AUDIO/Apollo e1x is a single-channel microphone/line preamplifier that connects to a Dante network.

■ Apollo e1x (Remote-controllable Unison Preamp) Product Overview

This is a single-channel Unison preamplifier that can be remotely controlled from the Apollo x16D, specifically designed for Dante network audio via PoE. The 5/8-inch thread on the bottom makes it easy to mount to a microphone stand, and a bracket for integrating multiple e1x units is included.

When combined with the Apollo x16D interface, it functions as an API, Avalon, Manley, Neve, SSL, and other Unison microphone preamplifier. It enables a fantastic I/O solution, including the e2m, over Dante network audio.


■ Apollo e1x Key Features and Specifications

The Apollo e1x connects to the Apollo x16D via Dante, allowing you to add a Unison microphone/line preamplifier anywhere on the Dante network, and it can be easily controlled with the UAD Console app.

Thanks to the Unison technology renowned in Apollo interfaces, it reproduces the classic tones of microphone preamplifiers from API, Neve, Manley, SSL, and others at a hardware level. You can create live mixes with the character, tone, and detail of the preamps you heard on your favorite albums.

Furthermore, the Apollo e1x can be used as a remotely controllable microphone/line preamp on any Dante network, even without the Apollo x16D. It's ideal for expanding inputs regardless of the Dante-compatible interface you use, from additional stage connections to FOH measurement microphones or fixed preamps for podiums.

If you need multiple e1x microphone preamps, the included coupling bracket allows for easy and secure physical mounting of multiple units. There are also threads on the bottom for microphone stand mounting, allowing for a clean and organized setup anywhere.
