Tiptop Audio / Buchla 242t Programmable Pulser

The Programmable Pulser Model 242t Programmable Pulser is a Eurorack version of the Buchla Model 242 gate generator with classic pin matrix.

The pin matrix has been replaced by a 4x12 LED matrix, modernized and improved for Eurorack with two bottom knobs for scrolling operation. Each of the A~C channels can be individually configured to output a pulse, and the n channels can be used to adjust the overall length of the sequence. The module can be used as a central point for patching, or to send CV signals to Clock In and Reset In for more complex pulse manipulation. The All out and Ramp (descending sawtooth) outputs are tied to the internal clock, creating a variety of interesting rhythmic variations, and the Period section controls the internal clock, which can be CV controlled for more organic and complex behavior. The Alter. section provides alternating pulses from both outputs.
