The EW-D Handheld Base Set is a versatile, feature-rich digital wireless system for singing, speech and instrument performance with seamless pairing and Smart Assist app management. The rugged handheld transmitter with metal housing is ideal for everyday use on stage.

Sennheiser's digital wireless microphone series, the Evolution Wireless Digital series, is the successor to the Evolution Wireless G4 system. The "EW-D" is a digital wireless microphone system that maintains the reliability and sound quality of the well-established G4 system, and is characterized by its simplified setup, low latency, wide dynamic range, and other high functionality. With a 134dB audio input dynamic range, the "EW-D" can record clear, distortion-free audio down to the finest detail without the need for sensitivity adjustment. In addition, it achieves a low latency of 1.9 ms despite being wireless. It also supports the dedicated app "Smart Assist App," and by connecting to iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth Low Energy, it is possible to efficiently set up, operate, and monitor from a distance. *Although the EW-D is the successor to the G4 system, there is no compatibility between the systems.
