THE GRANGE is a historical drum library that was recorded at Headley Grange (Hampshire, England), which is also known as the place where Led Zeppelin recorded, and features performances by Roger Taylor of Queen, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Andy Gungadine, who is active in Massive Attack and other bands.

The recording was made at Headley Grange, which is now a private residence, but Spitfire Audio negotiated with the current owner and obtained permission to use it as a recording studio. They succeeded in opening the doors of Headley Grange, which had not been opened for recording for decades.

The sound of THE GRANGE, created by the performance of a legendary drummer and the echoes of a historic studio, will surely become an essential sound source for creators seeking superior beats and grooves.

Operation Screen

The operation screen for this product's kits is very simple, with sections for adjusting dynamics and a compact mixer (left side), a section for selecting drum parts (center), and a section for adjusting parts and playing techniques (right side), and it is designed to allow you to get the optimal sound as quickly as possible.

The loop control screen is equipped with a compact mixer similar to a kit, tempo synchronization with DAW, low-pass filter, expression, and other functions. One preset contains up to 12 groups of performances (divided by BPM and feel), and each group contains 10 to 40 performances (loops) of 1 to 4 measures. Groups can be switched using a key switch.
