IK made a name for itself in the world with AmpliTube SVX 1, an authorized collection that faithfully reproduces the legendary bass amps and cabinets that define the bass sound.

The new AmpliTube SVX 2 gives bass players and music producers even more power to unleash their creativity. This collection of six officially licensed gear models faithfully reproduces the Ampeg sound that has come to symbolize the electric bass using the latest modeling technology.

Modeling the sound of a prestigious brand like Ampeg is no easy task. The IK development team worked closely with AAmpeg's engineering team to reproduce the behavior and sound of each original unit faithfully.


A sound that will overwhelm even an arena
The Ampeg SVT-VR is a reissue model of the vintage amp head "lue-Line" SVT from the 1970s. From the preamp, power supply, and rocker switch to the input terminal and the six 6550 vacuum tubes, the signal path has been modeled as faithfully as possible to reproduce the sound full of rock spirit. This amp has been used in all styles of music, regardless of genre. Its distinctive sound is so powerful that it can even overwhelm arenas. It is no wonder that it has been used by many famous bassists, such as Bootsy Collins, Tony Levin, Chris Squire, Pino Palladino, and Bill Laswell.


The legendary all-tube amp
The Ampeg V-4B 100W all-tube bass amp is a reissue of the original 1971 model that has now become a legend. It faithfully reproduces the vintage tube sound that has made its mark on bass history, along with the behavior of the original amp.


The sound that has graced the most recordings
The Heritage B-15N amp faithfully reproduces the sound that has come to symbolize Ampeg, which has been used in most recordings. It also has a function that allows you to switch between the 1964 and 1966 channel types. It also features a choice of variable and fixed bias, as well as highly flexible Baxandall-type bass/treble EQ controls. These features allow you to control the sound across a wide range of frequencies.


Three stunning cabinets for the stage
The classic Ampeg cabinet, the SVT-810AV, can be seen on stages around the world and delivers a powerful, tight bass sound. Its Infinite Baffle design has been unchanged since 1969, and its punchy sound is the trademark of the Ampeg sound.


Eminence-equipped SVT-212-AV
The Ampeg SVT-212AV cabinet has 2x12 "minimum custom LF drivers and a 1" "compression driver. It also features a 3-way level control that bridges the gap between quick transient response and rich, powerful low end, delivering the distinctive Ampeg bass sound.


Modern reproduction of vintage soul
The B-15N 115 is the perfect cabinet to use with the B-15N amp. It uses a 15" speaker that delivers a pure, solid vintage bass sound, taking you back to the good old 1960s. You can use it for a wide range of genres of music.


Customize your sound
Like other AmpliTube series products, the Ampeg SVX 2 works as a gear model in AmpliTube for Mac/PC. Its signal chain is based on two signal chains, with eight types of serial/parallel routing settings. You can use up to 16 stomp effects, two amp/cabinet models, two microphones, and eight rack effects simultaneously.

These six amp/speaker cabinet models can also be freely combined with the more than 300 gear models available a la carte from AmpliTube Custom Shop, the software-based guitar/bass effects that boast the largest lineup of gear models, for an even more creative sound creation.


It can also be used as an effect for software sound sources.
AmpliTube SVX 2 is the perfect effect plug-in to use in combination with a physical modeling electric bass sound source, MODO BASS. A hyper-real amp simulator that produces a bold and expressive bass sound that is a world apart from sample-based bass sound sources. It's truly an unbeatable combination.
