IGS Audio / TUBECORE

A stereo mastering compressor with a perfectly symmetrical transformer balance.

Outstanding Design and Functionality

The TUBECORE 3U is a stereo mastering compressor in a fully symmetrical, transformer-balanced configuration.

This design is based on a typical vari-mu solution. Apart from the conventional INPUT, THRESHOLD, and OUTPUT controls, it features a sidechain-switchable high-pass filter, parallel compression (MIX knob), independent ATTACK and RELEASE switches, and user-replaceable tubes accessible from the rear of the unit.
