IGS Audio / RB 500

A single-channel Paltech-style EQ module with a clean sound that's its main appeal.

The Rubber Bands 500 is a passive equalizer manufactured by IGS Audio, a company with extensive expertise in distinctive EQs, for single-track use in their 500 series.

This small module features input and output transbalancing (Carnhill) and discrete driver circuitry. Of course, the entire filtering section is passive, reflecting the analog equalizers of the 1960s. It has separate frequency selectors for both the low and high boost/cut sections, and a true bypass switch is available.
