Based on the highly acclaimed original BT-500, Heritage Audio's foray into IoT, the BT-500 v2.0 enables instant connectivity via Bluetooth, even between studio gear and mobile devices over 100m* away.

With the latest generation of audio-dedicated Bluetooth technology, the best codec quality supported by your device, and an advanced Burr Brown-based analog signal path, you can easily integrate your iOS/Android devices into your studio setup, freeing you from traditional hassles.

Until now, the only connection method was using a mini-jack to XLR adapter cable, but there are limitations to the analog audio path of mobile devices. Say goodbye to mini-jack cables, faulty device connections, and malfunctioning built-in ADCs!

The BT-500 v2.0 keeps things simple by recognizing the optimal codec for your device, such as AAC**, aptX***, and SBC, and achieving seamless integration:

Apple Music and YouTube use AAC* natively, resulting in significantly better lossless transmission from iOS devices than analog wired connections.

The aptX codec, used by most Android devices, is nearly lossless and is the standard for high-quality wireless headsets and soundbars.

If your device doesn't support AAC or aptX, the BT-500 v2.0 provides audio streaming using the traditional SBC codec.

Burr Brown's Lineage in Analog Paths

The BT-500 v2.0 replaces the analog circuitry of mobile devices with a fully differential balanced output stage from Burr Brown, achieving a full output of 0dBfs=+22dBu capable of driving a 600Ω load. This allows for direct level comparison during mixing/mastering while listening to references stored on the Apple iTunes Store or your device.
