While many 500 Series power racks feature a simple design that essentially supplies power to all channels in parallel, the OST-6 v2.0 has its own individually tuned and isolated power supply for each channel. This allows all installed 500 Series modules to perform at their best, ensuring that a heavily loaded module does not negatively impact the performance of others. In addition to reduced interference, you can expect better performance, especially in microphone preamps, in terms of lower self-noise and crosstalk.
