This classic 2-channel all-tube Class A microphone preamplifier features the standard AP2516 transformer in the input stage and API's proprietary custom transformers in the output stage.

Equipped with dual triode vacuum tubes (12AT7WC and 12BH7), it produces a unique tone. This preamp boasts a warm, punchy vacuum tube sound characteristic of API.
