The X73i is a popular version of the X73, a legendary amplifier that consistently holds the number one position among numerous NEVE 1073 replicas. Designer Dallas Upton, who has meticulously researched vintage NEVE sound down to the smallest detail over many years, has created this ambitious work, striving to maintain the sound quality of the higher-end X73 while keeping the price down.

The higher-end X73 is assembled one by one using ""the highest quality parts,"" ""luxurious design and construction,"" and ""careful handmade craftsmanship."" From the switches used in the gain controller to the custom-made input transformers, one for each line/microphone input, it is composed only of premium components in terms of both price and performance. Furthermore, designer Dallas Upton oversees production from start to finish. Therefore, production volume is extremely small, making it a rare item. The uncompromising pursuit of high-end quality produces the ultimate vintage sound.

The X73i achieves cost reduction while maintaining the same microphone preamp and EQ circuit structure as the X73. You can now enjoy the coveted vintage sound of the NEVE 1073 in your home studio. The expensive custom-made input transformer is shared between microphone and line inputs, and the gold-contact switches from ELMA, a top-of-the-line brand of rotary switches, have been replaced with those from GRAY HILL (these GRAY HILL switches are highly reliable and used in many professional audio products, including those from MANLEY Labs). Furthermore, by directly mounting the rotary switch onto the circuit board, manual labor time is significantly reduced, resulting in an efficient production process without sacrificing sound quality.
