XO is designed to let you explore your samples smoothly and seamlessly, regardless of where they are stored. Even if your sound libraries are located on multiple drives, external storage, or have different file names, XO will sort all of them. XO also smoothly integrates with samples and libraries from cloud-based sampling services such as Splice, Noiiz, Beatport, Looperman, and Loopmasters.

The interface is implemented with both playfulness and workflow. You can quickly build and edit beats using XO's playful and intuitive sequencer.

Use the ACCENTUATOR to add accents to your beats, and use Groove templates to create a variety of grooves. The Nudge function gives your beats a raw fluctuation and unique rhythmic feel. Use XO's built-in effects such as reverb, delay, pitch, filter, distortion, and tone to add character to your beats. Along with these features, XO comes with a huge list of over 8,000 curated factory samples and inspiring presets for your music production.

Access XO's Playground area to instantly explore endless variations of beats and sounds. Playground is an endless source of ""happy accidents"" that allow beatmakers to quickly reveal new angles and inspirations with brilliant creativity. In addition to controlling the step sequencer, click the Random button to bring new and exciting elements to your patterns. Search for the perfect snare, the right sounding kick, the desired hat, the ultimate cymbal, or your dream sound.

XO's many built-in search filters will help you find what you're looking for faster. XO's powerful live filter mode can be used to present XO's powerful samples, or you can customize the range yourself. For example, enter ""808"", ""Trap"", or ""HipHop"" and randomize only samples that match that criteria.
