The PXM-12MP is Electro-Voice's first powered stage monitor speaker. Designed for solo musicians, bands, mobile DJs, and other live performances, the PXM-12MP is a powerful, robust, and flexible speaker for a variety of applications. These acoustically optimized, high-output stage wedge monitors feature coaxially positioned 12-inch LF and 1.75-inch HF transducers. Their compact size and lightweight design (approximately 13.5kg) make them an extremely portable solution suitable for live performances on any stage.

Stable coverage ensures clear monitoring mix without affecting performers, even on stages with limited space. A 55° monitor angle and a wide 90°x90° directivity allow artists to monitor clearly anywhere on stage without compromising sound quality.

The PXM-12MP complements other Electro-Voice systems, expanding the portable speaker portfolio. Beyond stage monitoring, it can be mounted on a stand pole for fill, delay, or short-throw applications, delivering equally excellent performance in locations other than the ground. Furthermore, it can be used in combination with a subwoofer. It includes built-in presets for use with subwoofers in the EV portable family, such as the ELX200 and EKX.

Developed in collaboration with Electro-Voice and its sister brand Dynacord's world-class audio electronics engineering teams, the Class-D 700W built-in amplifier delivers sufficient power and high-precision sound for the most demanding monitoring requirements, while achieving a maximum sound pressure level of 129dB with ample headroom.

EV's QuickSmart DSP features a backlit LCD display and push-button encoder, providing class-revolutionary performance with sophisticated IIR and FIR filter signal processing to optimize audio performance. The 3-band digital EQ offers various presets for diverse applications, as well as five individually configurable user presets. A special notch filter eliminates feedback-causing frequencies. The delay value, adjustable in 0.1m increments, allows for precise adjustment and use as a delay speaker. GUITARCAB mode allows direct connection of a guitar via the PXM-12MP's built-in DI box.

The unit's connector panel is located on the side of the speaker, providing secure protection and easy access, even when mounted on a pole. It features two XLR/TRS combo jacks for microphone/line inputs, separate phantom power, a stereo RCA AUX input for playing music sources, and XLR THRU functionality. An XLR MIX OUT output allows it to function as a 3-channel mixer, outputting a mix separate from the one sent to the speaker.

The PXM-12MP floor monitor is housed in a durable 15mm plywood enclosure with a robust EV coating and features a powder-coated steel grille for robust performance in various applications.
