This left-handed locking peg has the same body shape as the Fender locking pegs found on the American Elite and other guitars. It is compatible with pegs found on the American Standard and American Professional series, which are Rotomatic-style pegs that are not screwed on the back of the headstock. Locking pegs prevent bending and friction of the strings wrapped around the peg shaft, helping to improve tuning stability.
