■Supports WASAPI audio drivers (Windows)
WASAPI (Windows Audio Session API) is an excellent audio driver that has been standard on Vista and later. It has virtually no playback delay and can be used simultaneously by multiple programs.

■Added a built-in Audio Chord Wizard
The previous Audio Chord Wizard was a standalone application that required data exchange with Band-in-a-Box. The new Audio Chord Wizard, integrated into the Audio Edit window, offers improved functionality and is easier to use.

■Expanded Audio Harmony Function
The functionality for generating harmony and pitch correction for audio parts has been expanded and integrated into the Audio Edit window for easier use.

■ Audio data can be transcribed into MIDI data.
Audio part data can be transcribed into a melody or solo part as MIDI data.

■ The audio editing window has been improved.
- Buttons for opening a dialog box to set the display method and changing the marker mode have been added.
- Selecting Audio Chord Wizard or User Track as the marker mode allows you to display and edit markers such as bar lines.
- Editing functions can be applied to the entire audio data. In previous versions, you had to select a range before performing an editing function. In the new version, editing functions are performed on the entire data if no range is selected.
- Functions have been added to the [Edit] button menu.

■ Notation videos can be created.
In previous versions, you could create chord sheet videos, but in the latest version, you can also create notation videos.

■ Folder reorganization.
As the version progressed, the startup folder became disorganized with many files and subfolders. Therefore, we have organized files into subfolders and reorganized the subfolders.

■ Supports ABC notation files
You can open ABC notation files, a simple text format widely used around the world, and save songs created with Band-in-a-Box as ABC notation files.

■ Expanded functionality for searching for styles similar to famous songs
・The database has been expanded. 2,000 songs have been added, including user requests, bringing the total to over 10,000.
・The song title search window now allows you to filter the list by genre, time signature, groove, tempo, and era.
・The song title search window now allows you to filter songs similar to the current style.
・Subgenres have been defined for most songs.

■ Expanded functionality of the Style Pick window
・A mixer-style controller has been added. You can view the instruments included in a style and change the time base for each part.
・More user categories have been added.
・The [Operation] button now includes a button to copy the list to the clipboard, a button to open the options dialog, and a button to reset the window to its default settings.
・The two types of list building buttons have been combined into one.
- The button for changing the list text size has been moved to the Options dialog.
- When building a style list, the Real Track Pick window and Real Drum Pick window lists are also automatically built.

■ The Audio Conversion Dialog has been improved.

The dialog, which had previously become difficult to use due to the increased number of options and buttons, has been simplified and made easier to use.

■ The Drop Station has been divided into six sections.

In addition to WAV, M4A, WMA, and MID, you can now create MP3 and WMAL (lossless) files.

■ The MP3 audio conversion function has been expanded.
- The MP3 audio codec is no longer required to create audio files. (Windows 8 and later)
- When creating audio files, the highest possible bitrate (320 kbps) is used.

■ The M4A audio conversion function has been expanded.
When converting audio, the Windows system is used instead of Apple's QuickTime Library for Windows, resulting in faster performance.

■ A simple dialog for selecting Real Drums has been added.

The dialog is clean and does not contain any options or notes. Unlike the Real Drum Pick window, the variation version is treated as a single real drum. You can also search for real drums that match the current style or are similar to the selected real drum with a single button.

■Improved Multi Drum Selection Dialog
You can resize the dialog and filter the list by genre, time signature, etc. You can also search for multi drums that match the current style or are similar to the multi drums selected in the list.

■Colorized toolbar buttons in Minimal Mode
Buttons that were previously only displayed in black and white can now be displayed in color.

■Customize the colors of more elements
You can now customize the colors of more elements using the ""Display Options"" dialog, including the mixer, current song column text, and part buttons at the top of the screen.

■Improved Mixer
- Right-click the blue [M] button to change the solo or mute status of other parts.
- Add transparency to the Mixer window in Movable Mode.

■Improved Flash Messages
- Messages are now displayed more clearly.
- The green message prompting an action has an [X] button that can be used to close the message without performing the action.
- Up to four messages can be displayed at a time.

■ Expanded Notation Window Functionality
- Notation can be displayed in 12/8, 9/8, or 6/8 time signatures.
- You can duplicate the note immediately before the clicked position.
- You can enter not only letters but also numbers as section letters.
- The dots in dotted rests are displayed in an easily visible position.
- When opening a MusicXML file, if more than 20% of the notes in the file are triplets, the overall beat division in the Notation window is automatically set to 3.
- The algorithm for drawing slurs has been improved.
- You can now delete notes from the Notation window using the Guitar or Piano window.
