■ Sound marker function
It has a built-in sound marker function that outputs a tone signal at REC start/stop, which is convenient for positioning the image and sound, and a test tone function that allows smooth adjustment of the audio input level on the camera side.
■ Limiter, low-cut filter
Equipped with a limiter function that prevents sound cracking due to sudden loud volume, and a low-cut filter that reduces low-range noise such as air conditioning and wind noise.
■ 3 power options
It is possible to record continuously for about 6.5 hours with two AAA alkaline batteries and about 11 hours with a lithium battery (when using a shotgun microphone). It can also be driven by the separately sold AC adapter "AD-17" or USB bus power.
■ USB connection
Equipped with a USB port, you can transfer recording files on a microSD card to a PC, and it also functions as a USB audio interface for PC/iOS devices that use the high-quality asynchronous transfer system.
