The HM2 compressor ""Nail"" features a hybrid design combining vacuum tubes and solid-state components, adding analog warmth, richness, and color to the world of digital recording. Nail incorporates features rarely seen in compressors, such as ""Hard Threshold,"" ""Filter,"" and ""Mix.""

The ""Hard Threshold"" functions simultaneously with the ""Filter,"" creating an original circuit that simulates using both a multiband compressor and a standard compressor at the same time. This is a highly effective tool for genres where low-frequency instruments are crucial, such as hip-hop and rock. The ""Mix"" function is completely different from a typical ""In/Out"" switch. While Nail does have an ""In/Out"" switch, the ""Mix"" function allows you to adjust the ratio of the original signal to the compressed signal using a dial. With its many possibilities, Nail will be a valuable tool for every studio.
