■ Features an out-center bead.
Controls volume and shell resonance while maintaining a powerful, attacking sound. Achieves a wide range of sound shaping and control.

■ Features a Q-type strainer, also used in the Live Custom and Absolute Hybrid Maple models. Provides stability when on and off, and allows for easy snare replacement and adjustment during performance.

YAMAHAドラムの中でも多くのドラマーに愛され、待望の復活を遂げたレコーディング・カスタムのスネアドラムです。シェルにはブラスが採用され、メタルシェル特有の明るいサウンドとサスティーンを楽しむ事ができ、一般的な14"x5.5"サイズながらもボリュームのある大きなサウンドを鳴らすことができます。スナッピーにはハイカーボンスティールワイヤー20本のモデルが標準装備されていますが、この14"x5.5"サイズのモデルはスティーブ・ガッド氏の要望による10本タイプのスナッピーが同梱されているとこもも見逃せないポイントです。
