This VINTECH AUDIO microphone preamp module is compatible with the API 500 series. It accurately reproduces the circuitry of the vintage NEVE 1073/1272. It features a luxurious analog configuration with all-discrete, Class A circuitry and transformer balancing. This is a highly reliable unit, assembled entirely by hand.

The Vintech 573 is a microphone preamp for API 500 modules that supports the VPR Alliance, a module design advocated by API.

The preamp features a Class A, all-discrete, transformer-balanced configuration that faithfully reproduces the Neve 1073 circuitry. The additional high-impedance D.I. input is also routed to the input transformer, delivering the rich, silky coloration you expect from Neve. Made in the USA, it's completely handmade without the use of ICs or surface-mounted components. It contains three discrete Class A amplifiers equivalent to the original Neve 1073.
