The Mike-E features a superior microphone preamp that precisely controls analog circuitry with digital control, and a compressor/limiter that adds an appealing analog coloration.

By combining a high-quality transformer-input microphone amplifier with the renowned Distressor compressor, it becomes the ultimate tracking tool.

* High-quality 5dB step gain, mechanical relays, and other high-quality design features

* Equipped with the ""CompSat"" section inherited from the legendary Distressor, enabling compression with a warm analog sound

* The ""CompSat"" section also features a new sound character added by a germanium circuit

* HFEmphasis function that achieves sound quality as if recorded on analog tape

* Built-in 80Hz/18dB peroct high-pass filter with a distinctive vintage EQ-like coloration

* Also functions as an instrument preamp/D.I. input, allowing direct connection of guitars and basses

* The ""CompSat"" section is equipped with WARM or TOASTYLED. Displays the status of the saturation circuit.
