Wind instrument stands

Wind instruments are surprisingly delicate instruments. It's easy to damage important instruments by putting them on the floor. Prepare a stand for your instrument. There are various types such as lightweight types that can be stored in the case while the leg can be stored in the body or in the bell and can be carried in a musical instrument case or a stationary type that emphasizes the stability of the instrument. Here we will introduce you to what kind of stand you should choose for each instrument.

K&M/152/3

For Flute

The flute and piccolo have different peg thicknesses, so each has its own stand. Use a stand as often as possible, as placing the instrument on a desk or chair makes it easy to roll and the adjustment of the instrument is very delicate.

K&M/15222

For clarinet

There are many varieties such as B♭ / A ??clarinet, E clarinet and bass clarinet. As the internal diameter and the like of the E clarinet and B♭ / A ??clarinet differ, use dedicated stands for each. Multi-stands are also effective when there are many hands-on changes. The bass clarinet stand can also be equipped with pegs to set up the E clarinet.

K&M/14300

For saxophone

There are many varieties such as soprano, alto, tenor and baritone. The soprano has both a straight and curved instrument shape, so you need a stand that is appropriate for each. Pegs can be added to the stands for alto, tenor and baritone to further support other instruments.

K&M/15213

For Trumpet

The trumpet and the cornet can use the same stand. Flugelhorn requires a dedicated stand. Multi-stands are also effective when there are many hands-on changes.

For Tuba

The tuba has two types of stands, one for playing support of the instrument and one for the instrument to stand up to leave the instrument. You will see a lot of times where you put the floor on the floor with the bell facing down, but using the stand will reduce the risk of deforming the bell's flare.
