What you need to make a sound

Combination of mixer, power amplifier and speakers

There are three ways to combine the mixer, power amplifier, and speakers, each with its advantages and disadvantages.

1. Analog mixer + power amplifier + non powered speaker

High expandability, the mixer can be changed easily if necessary.
The number of mixer channels and the output of the amplifier can be selected according to the site.

2. Analog mixer + powered speakers

[Merits]
There are fewer pieces of equipment.
Easy installation.
You don't have to worry about the combination of amps and speakers.
A mixer can be selected according to the required number of channels

The speaker has a built-in amplifier, so the output has an upper limit.
Each item needs to be powered separately.

3. Powered mixer + non powered speaker

Easy to install.

The mixer has a built-in amplifier, so the output has an upper limit.
The number of channels and the amplifier output are limited.

If the system needs to be transported and set up quickly and easily, it is better to choose a speaker or mixer with a built-in amplifier. In addition, t is better to choose a mixer, an amplifier, and a speaker, respectively, if there are plans to upgrade in the future.

Simple PA set

For small live events, a simple PA system packaged with the necessary products is recommended. It is reasonably priced, and some items can be purchased for less than the rental fee of the equipment. In addition, it is possible to add on to, such as longer speaker cables and use of a wireless microphone.
