Example of how to select by other functions

Existence of programming function
It is not necessary if it is simple control such as few channels, but it is quite difficult to move moving heads, etc. making motions with many channels in real time. If you want to control a complex lighting system or multiple units, it is recommended to program and recall and control instantly.
The presence or absence of the mix chase function
For example, you program light A on program A, and light B on program B. The function to run these two programs simultaneously is the mix chase function. If you do not have the mix chase function, you need to create a program C that combines light A and light B in addition to program A and B.
With or without fade function
This is useful when you want to slowly fade the brightness or a color change. If you do not have the fade function, you need to slowly raise and lower the fader.
Main unit size
For dimming, the main unit tends to be large because there are faders for the number of channels. On the contrary, for effects, there are many compact ones to handle multiple channels by switching pages with few faders.
