| Super light and super loud! The sound quality from the 12” speaker is incredible! All controls set at 12:00, including the gain and master volume, with the vintage switch engaged and this amp is a very smooth sounding beast! I use it for small outdoor events and medium indoor venues, neither one with PA support, and it holds up against vocals, guitar and drums with no worries. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Fender has done it again!!! | ||

| I was somewhat disappointed with the packaging, but the instrument arrived undamaged. The truss rod was completely loose, so I tightened it up without a problem. I also adjusted the action as well as the pickup height. The sound is amazing for oldies/rockabilly and classic 60s/70s rock. The neck is very playable and the short scale makes it easier to play overall. There is considerable neck dive, but it isn’t really a big issue for me. All things considered, it’s an excellent instrument for the price and I am very, very pleased with my purchase. Side note: I purchased the matching hard case from a retailer in the U.S. I also recommend doing the same should you buy this bass. | ||

| I have used this amp for nearly two years in many bands playing nearly every style of music and the Hartke always produces the exact tones that I need. The controls are simple, which I like. The shape control has it’s purpose, though I don’t use it much. I use a variety of basses and they all sound fabulous through this amp. The weight isn’t too bad and I can carry it in one hand and my bass in the other at the same time. It’s never failed me and the volume is more than enough for any situation. I use it for large and small venues, outdoor acoustic and electric shows, and I’ve even used it at festivals and have never turned the volume up past 3. Clean, crisp and clear sound reproduction in every situation. Highly recommended!!! | ||
