EARTHQUAKER DEVICES / Black Ash

Black Ash is a fuzz/overdrive inspired by vintage Tonebender Mk.I and Mk.II. A hard-to-obtain oil paper capacitor and NOS 1/2 watt carbon composition resistor were carefully selected from Jamie's personal collection to create a sound that can only be obtained with these parts.

While maintaining the classic fuzz drive feeling, you can enjoy easy-to-control highs, solid mids, and bass that crawls on the ground.

■Control
Fuzz: Setting the amount of fuzz. Turning it to the left will lower it, and turning it to the right will raise it.
Top: Treble setting. It can be adjusted from 2kHz to 10kHz, and this section allows you to adjust the way the sound is pushed out.
Level: Output settings. Turning it to the left will lower it, and turning it to the right will raise it. The output will be equivalent to the signal input in the 10 o'clock direction.

This product uses an electronic relay type true bypass, so no sound will be output without power.
·power supply
This product can be used with a 9V AC adapter and a 2.1mm center negative adapter. We do not recommend using daisy chains or non-transformer power adapters as they may generate noise. Also, please do not use a power supply exceeding 9V as this may cause a malfunction!
