This high-end pedal has an overwhelming metal front presence on the exterior of the effector. Since it does not use a diode clip to create a drive sound, it achieves a bold tone that does not lose the bass tone even when the drive control is turned up to the maximum. It also uses the ""SW-TONE SYSTEM"" that completely bypasses the tone circuit by turning the tone control all the way down.

The ZMF2023BD is made of aluminum alloy with luxurious engravings that incorporates Zemaitis' signature metal front base image.
Equipped with three controls: Level, TONE, and DRIVE. It also uses the SW-TONE SYSTEM, which completely bypasses the tone circuit when the tone control is turned fully counterclockwise.

[SW-TONE SYSTEM]
Typical tone circuits have the problem that even when the control is at the full position, the signal to the tone variable resistor cannot be completely blocked, resulting in a slight masking of the treble range.
This system solves this problem by completely cutting off the signal to the tone variable resistor using a switch, ensuring clear sound quality.

・Aluminum die-cast body
By using an aluminum case made by Hammond, which has a long track record as the case for many effectors around the world, it achieves high electrical conductivity and excellent sound quality.

·substrate
In order to prevent noise and so-called sound thinning, the circuit design from input to output is streamlined to eliminate waste as much as possible, and manufactured by hand wiring. It provides pure sound with minimal noise and minimal quality deterioration and circuit loss.

・Metal plate
The aluminum alloy engraving plate on the top, which greatly characterizes the exterior, is an icon that inherits the tradition of Zemaitis guitars, creating a sense of luxury and presence that is different from simple prints or paint.

・Control knob
We have abolished plastic parts, which tend to deteriorate over time and are easily damaged, and have replaced them with high-class, heavy-duty metal parts.

・Switch/LED/Jack
Instead of using electronic switches, we use mechanical switches that emphasize sound quality. You can feel the clicking sensation that electronic switches do not have, even from the soles of your shoes.

・Battery space
Opening the back cover, which is secured with four screws on the back of the body, reveals the battery space, which is connected to the battery snap and serves as a place to store the battery.

In pursuit of sound quality, we carefully work by hand to solder parts, wire circuit boards, install pots, switches, jacks, etc., and assemble them by hand without seeking production efficiency.
We aim to create a product that is durable so that it can be used for many years, and is designed to have minimal deterioration in sound quality and to provide sufficient effects.
