elysia/nvelope is a powerful audio processor that allows you to freely change the sound from subtle coloring to dramatic character changes with Attack and Sustain controls.
■The ever-changing impulse shaper
By controlling the attack/sustain characteristics contained in the sound, nvelope can make subtle to dramatic changes to the sound. Not only is it extremely useful for reshaping individual tones, but it's also a great tool for all aspects of mixing.
Since nvelope is not designed to depend on a specific level of the signal, it allows you to quickly reach the desired result without having to spend a lot of time balancing complex parameters (in contrast to so-called compressors).
Featuring a unique Dual Band mode, nvelope provides powerful control over sound shaping, allowing you to easily process even complex sound sources. The dynamics control function can be bypassed, so it can also be used as a flexible high/low shelving EQ.
■Main features
・100% discrete analog
Based on elysia's design philosophy, all nvelope audio circuits are designed using class A discrete circuits and no integrated circuits.
・Full Range mode
In Full Range mode, you can quickly and effectively change the strength of the signal's attack and sustain with just two knobs.
・Dual Band mode
Dual Band mode is basically the same as Full Range mode, but you can select the attack and sustain frequency bands you want to add strength to. This allows for greater control over the material.
・EQ mode
nvelope can be changed to a 2-band EQ with high/low shelving characteristics. In this case, it is still possible to enable channel linking to handle stereo material.
・Mixed mode
When Stereo Link mode is not enabled, two separate channels can each operate as separate processors (one channel acts as an impulse shaper, the other acts as an EQ).
・Dual Mono/Stereo Link
For ultimate flexibility, nvelope can be used in dual mono and stereo linked states in all Full Range, Dual Band, and EQ modes.
・Auto gain function
If distortion or level jumps occur as a result of attack adjustment, the Auto Gain function can correct the signal and maintain the appropriate level.
・Step type knob
The frequency band selection knob has 41 steps, making it easy to recall settings. In addition, the gain knob is a center click type that allows you to quickly return to the neutral position.
*This product is a domestic 100V only model, and the voltage selection switch on the back of the main unit does not work. A 115V specification model is also available. Please contact our sales department for details.
