There weren't many amps on the market for passive speakers that were so serious. Using 120v technology, which is SPL's specialty, we have created an amplifier that boasts powerful specifications. Its usage has already been proven in studios around the world, and international endorser Dan Ditanzo of Belgium has driven the combination of two18 and BaseOne25 from amphion with two Performer s800s. I am using it as a speaker that plays a sound of a different dimension from the tone that amphion had.
In fact, at SPL Japan, I went to his mastering studio many times, enjoyed the tone and shared many stories with him, but I was able to maximize the dynamic range and speaker potential of the Performer s800. By making the best use of it, I was able to feel the difference in the scenery of the songs I heard.
This idea could be applied to Yamaha's NS10M, for example, and works very well for high-end audio. When I delivered the aircraft to Focal Audio Japan, it showed the highest performance in connection with Focal Grande Utopia EM Evo, and I experienced that the depth and speed of the sound itself increased overwhelmingly. Furthermore, the Performer s800 has a Bridge function, and by driving it in monaural mode, it can be used as a high-output amplifier that squeezes out even more powerful 8 ohm 450W. When using in Bridge mode, you can use two Performer s800s to enjoy a deeper, richer tone.
