The ""Brooklyn"" series is named after the Gretsch drums that were first made in Brooklyn, New York in 1883. Based on Gretsch's signature USA Custom series, this series features a 6-ply maple and poplar shell with a vintage sound. The 3mm double-flange hoops create a distinctive open sound, giving it a distinctively different sound from the USA Custom.
