ATH-E40

Sound quality
The “E series" entry model is equipped with a dynamic type driver. Two original 12 mm diameter dual-phase push-pull driver units faithfully reproduce the original sound. While it is a dynamic type driver, it demonstrates the delicate sound expression and superior sound resolution that are comparable to BA type drivers.
Cable
The connection of the cable with the earphone body uses the "A2DC" detachable connector, which is an original design excellent in acoustic characteristics and durability. The part that comes in contact with the ear uses a flexible film that can be adjusted to the shape of the ear to enhance the fit.
Housing
The transparent housing allows you to see the driver unit inside. The back of the housing is printed with the letters "R" and "L".
Plug
Plug uses L type 3.5mm stereo mini. Because there is a step at the base of the plug, it is easy to connect even if you are storing portable audio or a smartphone in the case.

The “E series" middle grade ear monitor is equipped with a single BA type driver. Faithful to the original sound, it reproduces well-balanced from low to high, and boasts high resolution that allows you to the the details of any kind of music can in every corner of the sound spectrum.
Cable
The cable, as well as the "ATH-E40", uses a uniquely designed "A2DC" detachable connector with excellent acoustic characteristics and durability. The part that comes in contact with the ear uses a flexible film that can be adjusted to the shape of the ear.

The housing is the lightest and smallest housing in the E Series. The “E series" top model is equipped with triple BA type driver, which significantly improves the resolution of the sound by using separate low-range, mid-range, high-range BA type drivers.
