They are made of a new material, hardened Arium. The color is pure white, which is close to ceramic. When you hit it with your finger, you will hear a rich sound like a good wood.
Arium is poured into a mold and after a few days it will be almost finished, with final sanding and drilling holes for attaching the pegs. Machining itself is almost the same as woodworking.
The fingerboard inlays of are handmade by craftsmen.
The painted guitars were well masked and treated carefully until shipment.
There is a billiard table in the second floor office at the studio and a bar in the other room. The innovative ideas from ARISTIDES guitars are derived from this work environment.
In the evening, we had dinner in the middle of Amsterdam. When we arrived at the store, Adrian Vandenberg, who drove two hours from his home, came to meet me. While listening to the tale of the story of the project currently being recorded, we enjoyed wine and delicious food, and went on a night tour of Amsterdam.
