Characteristics and origin
Sax is a woodwind instrument invented by Belgian musical instrument maker Adolph Sachs in the 1840s. There is no doubt that his name is related to the origin of "Sax". The basic structure has not changed from the beginning of its invention, and it is said that it was born in a nearly completed state. I think that many people imagine jazz as saxophone, but it’s in charge of solo parts in music of various fields such as classical music and rock. In a nutshell, saxophones come in various sizes and types, with soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and so on.
It is said that there are about 600 saxophone parts, and these many parts are linked in a complex manner. Broadly speaking, it consists of four parts, the blow pipe (neck), second pipe (body), first pipe (bow), morning glory pipe (bell) and has 25 tone holes by various interlocking of keys and levers. It is a mechanism. The reeds used are processed natural wood, and there are no two reed exactly the same. The reeds are consumables and should be replaced regularly. Find the reed that suits you.
