What kind of instrument is a wind instrument?

A wind instrument is a generic term for "an instrument that has a tube and shakes the air in it to make a sound." Breath is blown into the instrument and you’ve probably seen them played before.

The origin is said to be the horns, bones of animals and shellfish.
