Dynamic microphones

They can be used to pick up any instrument, including vocals. They are used especially on stage because they are more durable. The coil is moved by the vibration of the diaphragm directly connected to the coil, and the voltage generated by electromagnetic induction is output and converted to voice.

Condenser microphones

By detecting the slight change of the two diaphragms attached to the condenser and converting it into an electric signal, they have clear high-frequency characteristics and can sensitively capture detailed sounds as compared to a dynamic microphone. If used, phantom power must be supplied.
・Cautions
Be careful in handling and storage as condenser mics are delicate and sensitive to impact and humidity.

Pop guard

An item to prevent pop noise (pulsive noises) during vocal recording.
Effective cloth and metal mesh material are used to prevent the microphone from spit and to keep the distance from the microphone, and it is used by attaching it to the microphone holder or the stand.
・Cautions
General pop guards such as PG6 and 23956 have clamps for mounting.
Clamp it to the microphone stand and fasten it in place. Some models, such as the RODE NT1-A, come with a pop guard integrated suspension holder.

Microphone holders

This will allow you toset the microphone on a stand. Some are included with your microphone purchase.
It is important to note that some microphones can only be mounted with special mic holders.

Standard type

Set the microphone in the clamp, and you’re ready. Select according to the thickness of the microphone.

Clip type

The spring loaded clip type hold the mic grip.

Shock mount holder

It has a structure that absorbs vibration and is used for condenser microphones.

Microphone cable

The shape of the cable connector differs depending on the connected device and the type of microphone used.

※ If the microphone input terminal is a phone type, you cannot supply phantom power, so you cannot use a condenser microphone.
(Example: CLASSIC PRO / KOK 500, RODE / Condenser Microphone etc.)

AUDIX / OM3

It is the world standard and fits into any system. The low to mid range has an attractive punch, the core of the sound is recorded well, and it also has presence.
