"PAR" stands for Parabolic Aluminized Reflector, which refers to light bulbs and shielded beam balls that use parabolic aluminum reflectors, and lamps that use those light bulbs are called par lights.
Par light bulb dimensions are represented by 1/8 inch x value. As an example, if it is PAR64 ball, it will be 8 inches (about 20.3 cm) in diameter with 1/8 inch x 64.
