About LED (Light Emitting Diode)

LED stands for LIGHT EMITTING DIODE. It is an electronic device that emits light when voltage is applied in a certain direction by direct current.

LED features

• Longer life than incandescent bulbs
• Unlike light bulbs, there are no filaments, so they are lightweight and shock resistant, and the probability of breakage or failure is low.
• Less heat generation due to specific light that does not contain ultraviolet light or infrared light
• It lights up as soon as the electricity is turned on

Disadvantages of LED

• It saves much power compared to light bulbs and fluorescent lights, but the currently marketed LED products are darker because they have lower W values than existing light bulbs
• The directivity of light is narrow and does not spread well
