How to choose DMX Controller-Moving Heads / Intelligent Scanners

The number of DMX channels and the number of faders (sliding up and down) for each device are points! It is important how to assign lighting equipment to DMX channels for control.

Example) When there are multiple units of the same lighting equipment using 3 DMX channels

If you want to control each light individually:
Set the address to channel 1 for the first unit and channel 4 for the second unit.
When you want to control multiple units with the same operation:
Set the address for all lighting devices on the same channel.

When controlling a moving head / intelligent scanner

Moving heads / intelligent scanners that can illuminate a wide range with various patterns can be said to be the top models among DMX lighting equipment. These lighting fixtures are small-sized equipment from around 4 DMX channels, to large-sized equipment around 16 DMX channels, and are often used together as a group. When control is required individually for each unit, it is often the case to use about 50 to 100 channels (the number of channels × the number of units).
