How to choose DMX controller-LED par lights / washers

The number of DMX channels and the number of faders for each device are important points! It is important how to assign lighting equipment to DMX channels for control.

Example) When there are multiple units of the same lighting equipment using 3 DMX channels

If you want to control each light individually:
Set the address to channel 1 for the first unit and channel 4 for the second unit.
When you want to control multiple units with the same operation:
Set the address for all lighting devices on the same channel.

When controlling LED type par lights / washers

The number of DMX channels required is important for LED type par lights & washers. In order to control red / blue / green etc. individually, 3 channels may be required, or about 6 channels may be used for strobe function or playback of built-in programs.
There is no problem if you control multiple units with the same operation, but if you want to control each unit individually, you need a DMX controller that can output signals for the required number of DMX channels × the number of channels used.

Choose a light control direction controller with a large number of faders, or an effects direction controller with a wide variety of program functions with a small number of faders, or select one based on your environment.
