This is the fifth guitar remodeling course (wiring edition) for those who want more from their guitar!
This time, we will introduce the wiring for the variation switch requested by a customer.
With series mini wiring, tap wiring and parallel wiring switching can be operated with one mini switch.
As before, it uses an on-on-on 6-pin mini switch where the switch stops in the middle and up and down
(※ Please pay attention to the number of contacts and the number of pins when purchasing a switch!)
First check the color of the wires coming out of each coil of the humbucking pickup.
All the wires from the pickup except for the bare earth wire are connected to the switch terminals.
Be careful when wiring because the lead wire crossing the center is connected to both the left center terminal and the right top terminal.
The lower left and right terminals of the right row are connected to the remaining lead wires from the pickup, and the lower left terminal is connected to the back of the pot, and the lower right terminal is connected to the third pot. It leads to the hot terminal.
It is difficult to connect two lead wires to a small terminal, but do your best!
What do you think?
With this wiring, you will get three variations of Series-Tap-Parallel! !
