'2 input 4 output model' which allows you to use external processor & out board at mixdown
Here's an audio interface that can be used with an external processor when mixing down with your DAW. It is recommended for those who want to use reverb and compressors, amp simulators, etc., with processors and outboards that you are familiar with.
Examples of use
I want to boost the sound pressure by applying a compressor to 2 tracks.
I want to apply reverb to a vocal track.
I want to make a guitar track that I recorded in the original sound into a sound that I recorded through an amplifier.
Connection example
Connect the audio interface input to the processor's output.
Connect the audio interface outputs 3-4 channels to the processor's input.
Connect the output monitor channels 1-2 of the audio interface to a powered monitor.
Use to get the desired effect when mixing down with DAW.
Monitor Speaker
Required for accurate monitoring during recording and mixdown. The powered type can be connected directly to the output of the audio interface. The non-powered type requires a separate power amplifier.
