A special notation sheet called tablature is used for electric guitars and electric basses. It seems difficult at first glance, but in fact it is very easy to learn and easy to understand, so please master in this chapter!
There are tabs for guitars and basses, but in both cases the horizontal lines represent strings, and the notation is 1st string, 2nd string, 3rd string ... from above.
The numbers represent the frets to be pressed. 0 is an open string (played without fretting).
Many basses have position marks. Usually, position marks are located on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 17th, and 19th frets, so let's check the position based on these.
Tablature is a notation of the position to fret. In order to play the song firmly, let's play while checking the rhythm and pitch with the staff score!
