How to choose a cable (shield)

Connector shape

Select according to the jack of the bass to be used. Please check the shape of the output terminal on your bass and use a compatible cable.

Straight-straight

It is the common connector shape of cables for musical instruments generally used.

Straight-L type

It fits perfectly on the surface of the bass and is recommended for live use.

L type-L type

It is often used for patch cables that connect effectors.

Length

If you use a cable that is as short as possible, you can prevent the sound quality from deteriorating. Generally, a cable of around 3-5m is often used. On a large stage etc., a cable of 10m or more may be used.

Color and design

Some manufacturers offer a wide variety of color variations. It is fun to match the bass and the cable color!
